Creating these customer-specific Día de los Muertos planters was an enjoyable process. It was also a new process for me to work with a horticulture manager to determine the appropriate type of living product (succulent/cactus) that would be most appropriate for the container. The hard good was produced overseas and the final product was sold in neighborhood Trader Joe’s grocery stores.
